We recognize the importance of having better visibility into your less-than-truckload shipments and having the ability to make informed decisions based on data. So, we improved our pickup status notifications for ABF Freight LTL shipments. With these enhancements, you’ll get more detailed pre-pickup information, pickup reschedules and pickup deletion summaries.

For an improved customer experience and to give better insight into when residential shipments will arrive, we implemented a new delivery text program for ABF Freight LTL residential deliveries. With this new program, we can communicate faster and more directly when setting up delivery appointments — making it easier for your customers to plan their day.
Scheduling Residential Deliveries Via Text
To keep you better informed, when an ABF service center closes for inclement weather, we now send an email to proactively update you on any changes to your freight’s location and delivery time. The email will include a link to our website where we’ll post the most up-to-date information on closures and other service advisories — helping provide you with better peace of mind during weather uncertainties.
